Chapter 44: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

This chapter is dedicated to Nasheep. Thank you for your ko-fi support.

Don’t pretend. Didn’t you ask me for help?

No person was in the mountain village──except for the dead. Jun ShuYing dismounted the horse, went around in a circle, and went out from the back door of the mountain village. There were also some fallen bandits lying on the rugged road, who didn’t change the savage faces even when dying.

Jun ShuYing walked along the side of the corpse, the bursts of blood and rancidity penetrating his nose and hitting his brain, making him nauseous. He didn’t take a few steps, and he heard the sound of hidden fighting and weapons from ahead. Jun ShuYing walked lightly, hiding in the dense woods and looking forward.

It sounded like several, the group of bandits with faces full of flesh* holding steel knives. Chu FeiYang was besieged in the middle, all over bloody, the breathing panting and a little unstable. There was a slight fatigue between the slightly furrowed brows, but more was the alertness of his concentration.

T/N: *Faces full of flesh: refers to the muscles on your cheeks that make the appearance look vicious.

The situation of the several five big and three thick* drab bandits is more not good and going nowhere. These people are not eager to attack, just stepping around in a small circle. Each made some noise. From time to time, one rushed out with a knife and stabbed, then immediately stepped back and returned, rotating to the next person.

T/N: *Five big and three thick: In ancient times, the “big five” refer to: “big hands, big feet, big ears, shoulder width, and hip fat”, and “three thick” are: “thick waist, thick legs, and thick neck”. Tall, stout, and burly.

Chu FeiYang stood in the middle, tilted his head slightly, and listened carefully. However, he couldn’t tell the position of the enemy in time. There were many wounds on his body, some of which were almost deeply visible, and the flesh turned out was ugly and terrifying.

One of the bandits opened his mouth and laughed, and some saliva spewed out of the stained teeth, which was stained with the sloppy beard.

“Chu FeiYang, you also have today! How many men I sacrificed couldn’t hold you down! You are so good! Today, my brothers will be like old cats playing mice, and you won’t die! How many people can kill Chu FeiYang in the world? From now on, my Hu Jia Camp will become famous in the arena!”

After speaking, there was another wild laugh, and several others also laughed. Chu FeiYang stood in the field, his hand holding the sword trembling slightly because of exhaustion.

He only resembled having not heard, and still paying close attention to distinguish. He successfully dodged a few cuts, but did not avoid leaving a few wounds on his chest and back.

Looking at the situation in the forest, Jun ShuYing frowned slightly, and the silver needle he slipped out of his sleeve was sandwiched between his fingers. He walked out of the woods where he was hiding, and beckoned to the people fighting in front of him: “Hey, you!”

Several bandits were obviously taken aback. They looked towards the man in the long dress and long belt who seemed to appear out of thin air, and the formation of cats and mice, which was easy to do, was stagnant.

Chu FeiYang also turned his face to the direction of Jun ShuYing. After a moment of consternation, he curled his mouth and smiled. Jun ShuYing curled his lips, and rushed into the formation.

He has no internal strength, but has deadly arms. His free-handed martial arts did not subdue them, but it was enough to kill them. This is enough.

Jun ShuYing’s agile figure flashed past the heavy hacking steel knives, stepping on light footwork, and three silver lights flickered among the crowd. Several big men fell to the ground one after another, wailing and screaming. Slowly, there was no sound, the seven orifices* bleeding, eyes wide open and body twitching.

T/N: Seven orifices: eyes, nose, tongue, mouth, ears.

Jun ShuYing disdainfully cast a glance at Chu FeiYang, who was still standing in place. Kneeling down in front of the bandit leader, he coldly snorted: “Old cat playing with mice?! Proof on you?!”

The bandit made a few strange noises in his mouth, then his eyes were rounded and his eyes were silent.

Jun ShuYing patted his clothes and stood up, Chu FeiYang smiled and said, “I didn’t expect you to come.”

Jun ShuYing took out the letterhead folded into a square and threw it at Chu FeiYang, saying: “Don’t pretend. Didn’t you ask me for help? You don’t dare to say if you want me to help you? Chu DaXia did not do so openly enough.”

Chu FeiYang coughed lightly and said, “Will you come if I let you come?! If you don’t go to my room, you won’t see this note. If you go to my room,” Chu FeiYang smiled slightly, “you will definitely come.”

Jun Shuying sneered disapprovingly and said: “Speaking of which, I really didn’t know that DaXia Chu is such a self-reliant person. Knowing that he is blind, he dare to come and kick others. He’s really courageous. Is the suspicion too long?!”

Chu FeiYang sighed a bad breath and said: “I just aattended an appointment. I also didn’t want to come. But if I did not come, in the future, I will let my comrades in the rivers and lakes* be aware that I, Chu FeiYang, towards a bandit nest went to discharge unyielding justice in an underground battle, but fled. How still am I confused?!”

T/N: *Jianghu: rivers and lakes is used here as a broad reference to the world. It has a long sense of explanation if you want to check it out.

The corners of Jun ShuYing’s mouth twitched, and he coldly snorted and said: “Regardless of how, now you owe me a favour. I’m occupied with something I want you to do, it’s best we immediately return……”

“I am sorry, I may…… no way…… I walk……” Chu Feiyang’s voice suddenly break off, the sword in his hand! He fell to the ground, and he fell softly. He fell to the ground, the person also collapsing down softly.

Jun ShuYing was surprised, and hastily stepped forward to check. He put his finger in front of Chu FeiYang’s nose and probed it, then felt the effort. The breath is not weak, just faint.

Jun ShuYing watched for a long while, and had no choice but to pull the horse from the imitation fortress, put Chu FeiYang on the horse’s back, turned on his own horse, and hurried away.

Days. The hero has been fighting for days. Hot damn!

Chapter 43: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

Perhaps that reckless righteous hero can also be rescued in a while.

Jun ShuYing’s heart was full of doubt. He did not believe Chu FeiYang can this easily let him go. However, he still has that damned small bird, and naturally, he can be confident. Chu FeiYang would no longer be watching him too much all the time, and he was happy free and comfortable.

Jun ShuYing once again probed the Mei Household several times, but returned without an exception or achievement. He also turned Mei ChenYing’s words again, but got the answer as before still no different.

Jun ShuYing’s anxiousness was like fire, but there was nothing he could do, and heart under darkness, he cursed Mei ChenYing as a straw bag*.

T/N: *Straw bag: an idiot; colloquialism: use straw woven bags that are not strong and durable to describe someone who is unused and incapable, has no knowledge/ ability.

As the eldest son of the Mei Household, he even was not clear or distinct on where jewelry is placed in his home. He deserved his moneybags father’s preference of Chu FeiYang, and doing everything possible to want to recruit him to become DongChuang KuaiXu*.

T/N: *Translates: DongChuang fast son-in-law; means a son-in-law who is open-minded and talented in conversation and demeanor; based on calligraphy saint and master Wang Xizhi.

While the matter of searching for the bead has yet no prospects, so far from Chu FeiYang’s disappearance it’s already past five days, and he also has yet to send a message. Jun ShuYing in the end could not think through what Chu FeiYang was calculating.

Always in such a passive position, and unable to control, Jun ShuYing was comfortable and unable stand up. The inn shopkeeper and running hall’s waiting staff have no idea of Chu FeiYang’s whereabouts, had once paid a large amount of silver for his endless lament.

Since the Burning Love Portion had no clues, how could a living person as large as Chu FeiYang succeeded in finding. If he can’t get the bead himself, Chu Feiyang may be the last help. Jun Shuying decided to search Chu Feiyang’s room first.

Who knew as soon as he entered through, he saw a piece of paper on the wooden table in the room, pressed by a cup, and spread out on that place.

Jun ShuYing approached and took a closer look. There is only one location on the paper: Hu Jia Camp*.

T/N: *Hu is a family name like Mei,and jia means household/ family. The word after was zhai (寨) -> which can be: village, camp, fortress, or stronghold.

Jun ShuYing frowned suspiciously. What place is Hu Jia Fortress? Did Chu FeiYang leave this note for him? But if he never entered this room, or simply walked away, what significance was in leaving that letter?! Weird people.

Jun ShuYing put away the note and called the young master to question about Hu Jia Camp.

You should be reading this at cookalinajonestranslations.wordpress.com

It turns out that the so-called Hu Jia Campt is just a group of bandits nesting in the mountains not far from the city. Rob houses on weekdays, bullying men and women, for the evil side. But in the end, it was just a bunch of little people who didn’t make a difference. Chu FeiYang probably went to do his chivalry again.

To deal with this bunch of ruffians, this should at most go from sunrise to sunset and return, but Chu FeiYang was gone there for so many days and there was no news……

Jun ShuYing at the moment imagined those pair of empty touching gray eyes, and taking some hesitating steps when walking──If Chu FeiYang is like this, and going to that kind of place, maybe it’s really overwhelming to send sheep into the tiger’s mouth.

T/N: Too cute!!

Jun ShuYing took out the note. The letterhead on the three characters was handsome like the host, the same upright handsome. Is this asking him for help?! The manner is really special.

Jun ShuYing thought carefully on the bed. Five days, damned early death. A mighty hero should have probably died in a masters fight, should have died of conspiracy, should have died of whatever sounds very magnificent, but in the end was hacked to death by a group of bandits, which is also sad.

──Letting out a breath, he resigned himself to his forehead and turned over and sat up. Perhaps that reckless righteous hero can also be rescued in a while.

Jun ShuYing took the silver pair and went straight to the horse market. He smacked a large and healthy horse. He turned the horse, and he went straight out of the city. The bumps along the way seemed to make his abdomen upset, and Jun ShuYing gritted his teeth.

He actually had a day running to save people. If the other party is Gao Fang, it makes sense, but it is Chu FeiYang that he is going to save, how ridiculous and how absurd.

Jun ShuYing put his hand on his lower abdomen. He could almost touch the violent thing.

Cold sweat slipped from his forehead, and Jun ShuYing gritted his teeth and cursed: “I’m rare to do a good thing, you give me a break.”

The fuddy-duddy wasn’t running, but stumbling around? I’m seriously tickled by evil fluff’s ludicrous imaginations right now. Who wants to bet there’s no way the fuddy-duddy is in danger? I could be wrong.

Chapter 42: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

……You are the first one.

His three months period almost past time, Jun ShuYing was unable to control his nervous suffering. He recognized he feared death, feared having to die. Even though this world made him disgusted, he also slightly didn’t want death.

Burning Love Potion’s absent at that place, where can it be?!

If before he still could calmly respond, that is because he believed he knew the Burning Love Potion was at that place, only awaiting his visit. And now, suddenly between no lead clue, but time still madly elapsed, and imminent anxious sense of the jade person going crazy. The heat in the scorching June made Jun ShuYing more restless.

Maybe there are other reasons. Jun ShuYing held his already obvious abdomen, frowning.

He didn’t know how to describe that feeling. He could feel the child in his stomach stretching his limbs and turning his body. Weird, but extremely real.

Door made a light noise and pushed open, Chu FeiYang carrying a medicine pot and bowl and walking in. He still hesitated in his footsteps, but he no longer stumbled like he did a few days ago. Jun ShuYing lamented his monster-like resilience more than once.

Chu FeiYang walked to the table and put down what he was holding. He didn’t hear Jun ShuYing’s voice or sharp mockery. He tilted his head and smiled and asked, “What’s wrong with you?”

Jun ShuYing frowned and said, “It’s always moving.”

Chu FeiYang groped for the medicine, sat down at the table, and smiled: “Because you are in a bad mood. The more irritable you are, the more it moves. You can stop it by stroking it.”

Jun ShuYing held the belly, neither a touch nor a rub. Tilted to Chu FeiYang a glance, sneered and said: “Then you have experience? Chu DaXia’s been pregnant?!”

You should be reading this at cookalinajonestranslations.wordpress.com

“The pharmacy doctor dragged me and told me. Each order I go to buy medicine, all he wants is to dangle chatter again and again, I also think it’s not difficult to be aware. The medicine is cold, drink, ba.”

Jun ShuYing’s face darkened and said bitterly, “I’ll sooner or later kill that old guy.”

Jun ShuYing walked to the table and picked up the medicine. Chu FeiYang took a seat beside him and softly replied: “You dare to kill innocent people, I will never forgive you.”

Jun ShuYing rolled his eyes and said gruffly: “I understand Chu Daxia. My life is in your hands. How dare I mess up?”

“That’s good.” Chu FeiYang nodded.

Jun ShuYing drank a bowl of thick black medicine in one breath, slammed the bowl on the table, sat across from Chu FeiYang in a loose robe, and watched him fumble and collect the medicine bowl.

“Chu FeiYang, are you heroes so idle? Are you all rushing to teach us mud-footed wicked people to correct evil?!” Jun ShuYing grinned disapprovingly at the end.

“……You are the first one.” Chu FeiYang replied softly. He swept spiritless eyes at Jun ShuYing’s body in a circle.

Although it is spiritless eyes, Jun ShuYing just noticed a hint of meaning. Originally, he wanted to take Chu FeiYang’s irony and torment him a bit, but he didn’t expect to not return an answer. Chocking normally does not make a sound.

“Jun GongZi* keep resting, I will return tomorrow.” Chu FeiYang smiled and walked out. Jun ShuYing stared bitterly at his leaving back, sat down with his stomach in his hands, frowned and cursed. The thing really moved even harder.

T/N: Gentleman.

But Chu FeiYang did not come the next day. The knock on the door early in the morning was still soft and polite, but after opening the door, he saw the flattering smile of the young master of the inn.

Carrying a peach wood food basket in the small second hand, and well-trained not to see Jun ShuYing’s somewhat abnormal body shape. He nodded and bowed in salute, and said with a smile on his face: “Jun GongZi, morning. This young one is here to bring you food. The Chu DaXia told the younger one to take good care of your diet.”

Jun ShuYing relieved the aching hairline on his forehead, frowned and asked, “Where is the person surnamed Chu?”

“Gone.” The young master entered the room and set up breakfast, and replied briskly.

“Gone?!” Jun ShuYing’s response was slow momentarily, “Gone where?”

The young master laughed and said, “Little of where is known of Chu DaXia’s matters. He left early this morning. You can eat, if you have anything you need, I will be on call.”

Jun ShuYing waved his hand to the young master, the young master exited the room, closed the door, and the surrounding area suddenly became quiet.

The fuddy-duddy is running. It’s such a classic falling in love pivotal point, and so obvious! I wonder what the evil fluff will do: go after him or take the opportunity to search again?

Also: I’m sorry for the late chapter. I promise the next one will be on time.

Chapter 41: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

I don’t want to have to kill you myself

In this way, several days passed peacefully and quietly──At least superficially quiet.

Without giving yo, in the past few days, Jun ShuYing only sneaked out once, infiltrating Mei Household manor again. With the lessons of two failures, this time he succeeded in not disturbing anyone.

But he still failed.

He explored the location of the Burn Love Potion’s location from listening clearly to Mei ChenYing. After he dragged his cumbersome body, and all the hardships, he finally entered the dark room of Mei Xiang’s study──Mei ChenYing didn’t lie to him, this is where the old fox hid his treasure. There are the world’s rare God weapons, valuable antiques, and shining jewels──But there was nothing he was looking for.

Jun ShuYing patiently searched for it several times, and finally had to admit he was busy again in vain. After facing and venting to a room of jewels, he finally took a dagger away helplessly. Rolled back into the pile of gold and silver, and couldn’t leave empty-handed.

Jun ShuYing had just left Mei Household manor dejectedly, and just met Chu FeiYang who seemed to have been waiting for a long time. Chu FeiYang looked at him with moving eyes, frowning slightly. Jun ShuYing felt he was dissatisfied, and he was angry.

“Don’t you have anything to say? “Chu FeiYang said.

“…Why do you always find me?” Jun ShuYing asked indignantly, “In the past, I thought you Daxia Chu had chased and killed many people, practicing an unparalleled skill for finding shadows. But now, I don’t believe I will always be caught by a blind man who bumps into chairs going into a city inn. You have a face that is open and upright all day long, but sometimes I have to wonder, is it because you, Daxia Chu, acted on me?”

Jun Shuying stared at Chu Feiyang viciously. Seeing his idling eyes moved down a little, eye lashes fluttered all of a sudden, not covering the live gloomy spirit of the eyes.

“Is true?! You really pretended to be on hands and feet?!”

“Sometimes dealing with difficult people, special means are necessary.” Chu FeiYang replied calmly.

“You this… mean villain! Hypocrite!” Jun ShuYing took two steps forward and grabbed Chu FeiYang’s collar, gritted his teeth and cursed.

You should be reading this at cookalinajonestranslations.wordpress.com

“I did not promise anything.” Chu FeiYang turned his head slightly after looking up.

“…What did you do?” Jun ShuYing forcefully released Chu FeiYang, and asked in disgust.

Chu FeiYang raised a finger, and a small, pale yellow bird flew out from nowhere, landed on his slender fingertips, and scratched its wings with a small beak.

“You have some harmless medicine in your food. It will not affect you in any way. But no matter the ends of the world, this little thing can always find you.” Chu FeiYang explained indifferently, as if such a bleak behavior is nothing more than an ordinary thing.

Jun ShuYing’s image chocked just staring at the little tiny yellow of those his fingertips, and he moved his gaze upwards to Chu FeiYang’s naturally calm face.

“How long is the effect of that medicine?” He can only think of one question at present, “One month? One year? Ten years?”

“All my life.” Chu FeiYang interrupted his guess, “but as long as you abide by our agreement, I won’t use it to find you again.”

“Promise?!” Jun ShuYing shouted impatiently. “What damn promise? Don’t kill anymore?! Be a good person like you, Chu FeiYang?! Don’t you think you control too much Daxia Chu!”

“That’s because you are worth it.” Chu FeiYang’s voice suddenly became deep and low, “I have seen you kill. I have to say that you are just a bone-worn bastard. But those who died under your hand, you and them, it’s just the dog biting the dog and you won. Originally, as long as I killed you, you would be wiped out forever, but now I can’t, and I don’t want to. I want you to change your evil, because I don’t want to have to kill you myself one day.”

Jun ShuYing looked at Chu FeiYang, listened to him coldly, and said nothing. The yellow-colored bird flew away long ago, and the strange silence froze between the two.

A good while, Chu FeiYang sighed lightly, and said: “Go back with me first. If you are willing to say, I really want to know what you want to harass the Mei family twice.”

“It’s a pity, I don’t want to say it.” Jun ShuYing snorted coldly.

Chu FeiYang raised his eyebrows, smiled, and jumped over Jun ShuYing to the roof.

Me thinks Chu FeiYang might just be part of the fuddy-duddy list. What ever is he going to do next?

Chapter 40: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

This chapter is dedicated to Teddy. Thank you for your support! I appreciate it very much!

I won’t feel guilty at anybody! Especially you, Chu FeiYang!

Jun ShuYing returned to the room, and weighed it carefully. He couldn’t escape Chu FeiYang’s five finger mountain* before, and now it is not the same. The ferocious lion, suddenly unable to see, the power will also be greatly reduced. It’s just that he needs to escape soon, can’t give Chu FeiYang any time to ease his breath.

T/N: *This translated to Wuzhishan, which refers to a Chinese mountain range and peak on Hainan Island, with literally five mountain peaks. It’s used figuratively here.

Jun ShuYing was at sixes and sevens* in thoughts, and fell asleep in a daze.

T/N: Thoughts are a mess.

He did not see Chu FeiYang again in the next few days. Only the young master from the shop came and went to serve tea and water every day. Even the work of boiling and delivering medicine was taken over by the young master.

Jun ShuYing felt disgusted when he thought of the purpose of the medicine being known by others, but it seemed that the young master did not know anything. At Jun ShuYing’s difference of thoughts, the young master then carried his head and circled outside the danger spot. He was ignorant, and he still waited on Zhou Dao with a smile every day.

Jun ShuYing tried to escape once, but he was caught by Chu FeiYang before he escaped this street──That was the first time he saw Chu FeiYang since that night. His eyes were blank and his face was expressionless.

Jun ShuYing was unwillingly dragged back by Chu FeiYang flying back to the inn──He swept across the roof like a person with intact eyes, but Jun ShuYing knew that if he walked down the street, everyone would see that he was blind within five steps──He didn’t ask how Chu FeiYang found him. It’s just some frustration that can’t be ignored.

Even though Chu FeiYang was blind, he was still stronger than he is now. He is like a high wall, unable to push down, unable to surpass. Jun ShuYing felt weak. What annoyed him the most was that his three month period was only one month left. If he didn’t get the Fen Love Pearl as soon as possible, he was afraid he would die here in vain.

Jun ShuYing felt more and more lethargic, he didn’t know whether it was because of the child or the effect of poison. No matter which one it is, it is not a good thing.

Another early morning, as usual, Jun ShuYing was awakened by a knock on the door. He frowned and opened the door. Unexpectedly, he didn’t see the young master of the shop, but Chu FeiYang stood outside the door. Chu FeiYang smiled in his direction. His eyes are gray and lacking, but the smile is still gentle and calm. Jun ShuYing unconsciously furrowed his brows tightly.

Chu FeiYang stepped in, carrying a delicate food box in his hand. Jun ShuYing had to carefully let him, so he won’t be touched by him. Chu FeiYang walked straight to the front of the table and put down the food box.

He turned to Jun ShuYing’s direction, and said with a smile: “In my current situation, be careful of getting into trouble. I am afraid I will have to eat in the room in the future.”

Jun Shuying walked over slowly, measuring Chu FeiYang with his own pair of eyes. Chu FeiYang touched the stool somewhat carefully and sat down. He fumbled to open the food box and set out to eat. Jun ShuYing sat down opposite Chu FeiYang, Chu FeiYang handed the chopsticks to him.

“Aren’t you angry? I almost killed you.” Jun ShuYing was puzzled.

Chu FeiYang smiled slightly: “But I’m still alive──”

You should be reading this at cookalinajonestranslations.wordpress.com

“But you are blind.” Jun ShuYing cut him off. “You should regret it, you should jump like thunder, you should wait to break my body to pieces! When I open the door, you should stab me with a sword instead of smiling and giving food to your enemy!” Jun ShuYing lost his patience when he said that, and the depressed mood that had been entrenched in his heart for a few days was like a torrent. “What hero?! What justice?! You simply are a hypocrite, a pitiful insect who lives a lifetime under a mask!”

Chu FeiYang retracted the hand holding the chopsticks. The atmosphere in the room was suddenly silent and strange.

“You are guilty,” Chu Feiyang said.

“I won’t feel guilty at anybody! Especially you, Chu FeiYang!” Jun ShuYing clenched her fists and gritted her teeth.

Chu FeiYang sighed lightly and said, “Listen, I don’t want to fight with you anymore. It was my choice to save you. Even if I truly died, I have no words I’m able to say. If you feel guilty, at least try to listen to me……”

“Listen to words? Listen to what?! Be a hypocrite person like you?!” Jun ShuYing snorted coldly.

Chu Feiyang smiled and nodded: “It’s so natural, but I don’t dare to expect it. I only ask you not to kill innocent people. At least think about it before you want to kill people.”

“Who do you think you are?! Why do you order me?!”

“You owe me.” Chu FeiYang said lightly, and smiled slightly, “and you are shaken and guilty.”

……

Jun ShuYing looked at him coldly: “Can you be more narcissistic?”

Chu FeiYang didn’t reply, so he reached out and handed out the chopsticks again.

Jun ShuYing took it and sneered: “It’s crooked, blind man.”

Chu Feiyang just pretended not to hear, fumbled and ate it awkwardly.

Jun ShuYing rubbed his nose uninterestedly. Seeing Chu FeiYang’s awkward movements because he couldn’t see, he suddenly understood what Chu Feiyang said──

“In my current situation, be careful of getting into trouble. I am afraid I will have to eat in the room in the future.”

Chu FeiYang has many enemies, not even less than him. For those gangsters from all walks of life hiding in the dark, Chu FeiYang was blind, and was no longer an invincible powerhouse. This was simply a God-given opportunity. Maybe without him, Chu FeiYang will soon be in a strange place, a corpse on the street.

Jun ShuYing picked up the tender porridge, stirred it slowly with a spoon, and seemed to be thoughtful.

This is becoming a terrifying situation with JSY “thinking”. And it’s still chapter 40.

Chapter 39: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

Are you really blind?!

Jun ShuYing walked to Chu FeiYang’s door, and with a big push, he broke in. Chu FeiYang was still sitting there, his eyes raised and looking out the door.

“Who?!” Chu FeiYang’s voice was wary, and he reached out to grab the sword beside him.

Jun ShuYing walked in slowly, eyes fixed on Chu FeiYang’s face and looking carefully. “It’s me, Chu FeiYang.” He replied while slowly moving his footsteps, with a gloating smile that could not be hidden in his voice.

Chu FeiYang put down his sword, looked at him and said, “What are you doing back again?”

“I came… see you.” Jun ShuYing walked to Chu FeiYang, stretched out his hand and shook it in front of his eyes. Chu FeiYang sighed helplessly, and raised his hand to grab his wrist. Jun ShuYing was taken aback, and hurriedly withdrew his hand.

“No need to test.” Chu Fei Yang said, “I can’t see.”

Chu FeiYang admitted so simply, but Jun ShuYing was stunned for a while. He immediately recovered, and gleefully laughed. He stretched out his hand again and shook it in front of Chu FeiYang: “Really completely unseeing?! Can’t see a little bit?!”

“En. Some shadows were still visible at the beginning, but now I can’t see them at all, it’s only pitch black.” Chu FeiYang nodded and said in return.

Jun ShuYing sighed contentedly, and said: “Then you are blind? I always know that high-level poison is very domineering. I just didn’t expect to know the medicine can not be restrained, can’t know if you’ll be blind all your life……”

“If you sway your paw in front of my eyes, I will chop it off. I do what I say, you know best.” Chu FeiYang’s tone was flat, but with irrepressible anger. Jun ShuYing received his hand in a hesitant manner, turned around and sat on the chair beside Chu Feiyang.

Chu FeiYang felt that he had sighed more since meeting Jun ShuYing than he had in his entire life. He turned his face to Jun ShuYing’s direction, no longer trying to pretend to see. His eyes lost their brilliance, like a gray frost. “Jun ShuYing, I really want to know what your heart is made of. Why are you always so heartless.”

“What?! Do you still count on me to be grateful?! Don’t forget Chu FeiYang, you have always treated me like a prisoner. Do you think I care for your self-righteous care?” Jun ShuYing scoffed. Chu FeiYang didn’t respond, only looking in his direction with tarnished eyes. Although knowing he couldn’t see, Jun ShuYing still touched his nose uncomfortably: “Are you really blind?!”

“You!” Chu FeiYang felt that he was powerless to get angry, and sighed: “I’m blind, and I’m such a bastard for you. For the first time in my life, I, Chu FeiYang, felt that I had done something stupid. Listen, from now on, you will be honest and obedient to me. Dare to mess with me again, I will really lock you in the room until we watch you f*cking give birth to the baby and we can shoot and scatter. Until then, the road will go to the other side!”

Chu FeiYang clenched his fist and finished speaking in one breath, and then waited for a response. There was only an aggravated breathing in the ear. “Have you heard? Answer me!” He roared impatiently.

“The tiger falls to Pingyang*. Chu FeiYang, I will win this round sooner or later!” Jun ShuYing said bitterly.

T/N: *The metaphor is that the powerful or the powerful have lost their power or advantage.

“Very good.” Chu FeiYang nodded in satisfaction, “Now, go back to your room. Don’t bother me again until I find you.”

“You–” Jun ShuYing slapped the table and stood up, but found that Chu FeiYang’s sword was half unsheathed across his chest, and the sharp blade was flashing with cold light.

Jun ShuYing looked at the sword, looked at Chu FeiYang again, gave a cold snort, and walked out. After the noise of the door wood colliding, the room finally returned to quiet. Chu FeiYang put away the sword, heaved a sigh of relief, closed his eyes fiercely, and opened it again. After looking around blankly for a while, he suddenly split the wooden table beside him with a palm strike.

*I was wrong. Not a boner; blindness. I would also like to point out: this relationship, while strenuous with both sides well aware of went wrong in the beginning, is not as toxic as I’d imagined it to become. Both CFY and JSY retain reservations, emotions, hostility, and lack of trust that is being worked on slowly. It’s going better than it’s beginning had implied.

Chapter 38: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

“You are a true bastard.” Chu FeiYang replied with a curved mouth.

More than half an hour passed after Chu FeiYang took the antidote. Only after recovering from the state of being paralyzed, he began to adjust his breath by himself. Jun ShuYing watched quietly for a while, somewhat at a loss.

Jun ShuYing always only believed hate is real, evil is real, jealousy is real, and desire is real. He never believed that the so-called justice was real, and goodness is real. Justice and goodness just because he has enough, he can give alms to the insignificant sympathy and kindness and be complacent and proud.

He just hasn’t encountered anything that makes him want to get by any means. When that appeared before his eyes, there was nothing that could not be abandoned, nothing that could not be betrayed.

He never believed in friends. The so-called best friend is just because you haven’t become a hindrance under his feet. Once you are, you will be kicked away mercilessly, or even eliminated.

He really couldn’t see clearly. He did not expect Chu FeiYang to achieve this level, for him.

Jun ShuYing got up and walked out.

“Don’t leave!” Chu FeiYang still closed his eyes tightly, his face was pale, and the straight eyebrows were painfully tangled together because of the torture suffered by his body.

Even though he knew he couldn’t see, Jun ShuYing habitually looked him up and down with contemptuous eyes, and snorted coldly, “Do you think you can stop me?”

“You can try!” Chu Feiyang gritted his teeth and said, the sound of rattling bones came from nowhere.

“You!” Jun ShuYing was angry, staring at Chu FeiYang, but found that he couldn’t turn around and leave coldly.

He was not afraid of Chu FeiYang’s intimidation. Even if it was before this night, Chu FeiYang’s threat to him would also make him hesitate. Because even though Chu FeiYang always promises to take care of him tirelessly, after all, it was a terrible enemy who was deliberately trying to make him a top priority a few months ago.

Now he has full confidence that Chu FeiYang will not hurt him. But looking at the face that has never been gentle and bright, at the moment was covered with rare dark clouds, and he was unable to stop his steps like defiance.

Chu FeiYang barely pushed a chair to him: “Sit down.”

Jun ShuYing held a stalemate for a moment, just gave up and moved over. “You are such a fool.” He looked at Chu FeiYang, who was calming down again to adjust his breath and smirked.

“You are a true bastard.” Chu FeiYang replied with a curved mouth.

……

Jun ShuYing didn’t know when he fell asleep. When he woke up, the sky was already bright. He looked at Chu FeiYang, and suddenly startled. Chu FeiYang was still sitting there, a pair of eyes that were wide open, staring at him brightly.

“Why, Chu Daxia regrets it? Want to kill someone?!” Jun ShuYing became alert.

“Do you think everyone is as dangerous and inconsistent as you?!” Chu FeiYang sneered, “You can go back to your own room. Don’t try to escape anymore. I don’t have the patience to play cat and mouse with you again.”

Jun ShuYing frowned. Chu FeiYang was still watching him steadily. Those eyes are no longer the usual introverted gentleness, with something he couldn’t understand. Chu Feiyang was a little odd, but he couldn’t tell what was wrong.

Maybe the people who just walked around the ghost door will be a little abnormal. The weird look made him wonder, but he was unreasonable and annoyed that Chu FeiYang compared him to a mouse.

Jun ShuYing got up and left. Before closing the door, he could still see Chu FeiYang’s slightly weird look in his eyes looking here. The door shut closed, blocking Chu FeiYang’s line of sight to look outside the door.

Jun ShuYing walked towards his room with his heart full of doubts. Chu FeiYang’s weird behavior flashed back and forth in his mind, and he even felt that he saw Chu FeiYang’s expression of relief at the moment the door was closed.

The moment he put her hand on the door of his room, Jun ShuYing suddenly had an idea, and he grinned uncontrollably. He thinks he already knows what happened. Jun ShuYing walked back the same way briskly, and the frustrated anger seemed to vanish in an instant.

Poor, poor Fei. Why did he get that boner so swiftly? What will our porcupine do?

Chapter 37: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

plunged into Chu FeiYang’s chest

“Shhh, don’t make a sound. It’s me.” The hot and humid breath was blowing in his ears, Jun ShuYing grew stiff from head to toe. Chu FeiYang’s approach was beyond his tolerance, and he couldn’t think of the day when the evil fate of the two began. That was also the beginning of all his miserable situation.

Hatred that has long since faded like a fire rekindled on the embers, the scorching heat, fierce, spread beyond containment. Jun Shuying’s hand holding the silver needle trembled slightly.

He did his best to control his mind and concentrate on the turnout of household servants who were searching around under both their bodies and protecting the courtyard, and let the silver needle that had been poisoned with a faint green light slip into his sleeve.

Several household servants rummaged around in this room, and found nothing. They quickly left here and rushed to the next room. There was no torch in the room, suddenly plunging it into quiet darkness. The shadows of a few clumps of plants cast their shadows in the light of the moonlight and torches outside the door, twisted like ghosts.

Chu FeiYang still maintained the posture of embracing Jun ShuYing and covering his mouth, attentively listened to the cluttered footsteps outside the door, until it was confirmed that everyone was far away from this courtyard, before jumping off the beam with Jun ShuYing.

Jun ShuYing tightened his lips and was unusually quiet. Chu FeiYang stared at him for a moment, took his hand and supplied some internal strength to him. He lowered his voice and said bitterly: “I will take you out of here first. We will clear when we return to the inn!”

After speaking, he went straight to the window and jumped out first. Jun ShuYing frowned and looked around, and finally followed Chu FeiYang and fled outside.

Jun ShuYing followed Chu FeiYang to sneak among the tall trees and rockery in the courtyard. He avoided the courtyard that was searched back and forth. Finally, he reached the outer wall. Chu FeiYang flew up to the top of the wall, but found that Jun ShuYing had not kept up.

Looking down, Jun ShuYing was looking up at him under the wall. Chu FeiYang frowned. His internal power passed on to Jun ShuYing shouldn’t be exhausted so quickly. There were some neat footsteps in the distance, and there was no time to think too much now.

Chu FeiYang could only resign his fate and jumped down. He embraced Jun ShuYing and flew up to the wall again, only to see a fierce light flashing in Jun ShuYing’s eyes.

Although a little surprised, but it’s not completely unexpected.

Chu FeiYang sighed–behind him was the sound of sharp arrows breaking through the air. In front of him is the one who is deliberately waiting for him to reveal his flaws and kill him──

Everything seemed to be just a moment, in fact it was indeed just a moment – Jun ShuYing’s meager internal strength was not enough to let him see what happened at that moment. He only knew that Chu FeiYang turned around holding him, through the sound of flesh and blood and Chu FeiYang’s muffled hum, an arrow penetrated into his ear before he(JSY) pierced the silver needle in his hand.

Jun ShuYing’s eyes widened. The silver needle with a three-point cast easily plunged into Chu FeiYang’s chest.

Chu FeiYang looked down and smiled bitterly. The feather arrowhead had penetrated the flesh of his left shoulder, the sharp arrowhead contaminated with warm hot blood. But the most serious thing is not it.

The paralysis that spread wildly through his body from those three small silver needles would really kill him.

Chu FeiYang grabbed Jun ShuYing’s hand and pulled out the silver needle. In order to stop the spread of toxicity.

Someone behind him yelled: “I hit him! He is injured!”

Some quickened footsteps were quickly approaching here. Jun ShuYing was still in shock. He stared at his injury with wide eyes. He looked into his eyes again, opened his mouth, and his voice was dry and dull: “……Why?!”

Chu FeiYang leaped down the wall with Jun ShuYing in his arms. Somewhat breathlessly he replied: “This is not the time to talk. When we return to the inn, we will settle the matter, you dangerous villain!”

Chu FeiYang took Jun ShuYing back to the inn where he was staying. Jun ShuYing closed his eyes on the road, and could only hear the swift wind passing by his ear and cheek. Chu FeiYang squandered his internal strength too much. He(JSY) could almost hear the sound of toxins spreading in Chu FeiYang’s body.

The two got into Chu FeiYang’s room through the window.

As soon as he entered through, Chu FeiYang pushed aside Jun ShuYing and fell on the mahogany chair. He broke off the tail of the feather arrow behind his left shoulder, grabbed the arrow and pulled it out. Pulling open the clothes on his chest again, a large area of purple black was around the tiny wound caused by the silver needle.

Jun ShuYing stood aside and stared blankly until Chu FeiYang stared fiercely towards him. He was even startled by those bright eyes with obvious impatience.

“What the hell?! Antidote!” Chu FeiYang gasped and said in a low roar.

Jun ShuYing frowned. Didn’t he just want him to die?! How could he dare to ask him for an antidote so arrogantly?! What a joke. Jun ShuYing took two guarded steps towards the door direction.

“I said, the antidote!” Chu FeiYang’s cruel expression under the scattered strands of hair was something Jun ShuYing had never seen before. Even when he faced him with murderousness in the past.

But no matter how strongly deterrent an expression Chu FeiYang showed, Jun ShuYing knew that his body might be too weak to stand up. No one can survive half a stick of incense under high-level deadly poison. Even Chu FeiYang couldn’t.

He can now walk out of the room calmly, and Chu FeiYang will undoubtedly die. He took revenge and never had to worry about such a big hidden danger again.

But he saw that he took out the bottle from his arms and handed it to Chu Feiyang. Chu Feiyang just fixedly looked at him, and did not reach out to pick him up. Jun Shuying hesitated for a moment, walked around the table, uncorked the bottle, and scattered some on the terrible wound.

He took another pill from his arms, stuffed it into Chu Feiyang’s mouth, pressed the xué* on the side of his neck, and watched the pill slip down Chu Feiyang’s throat.

T/N: It’s one of the meridians on the body.

I feel as if JSY has never expected anyone to actually save him like that. Poor porcupine.

Chapter 36: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

Mei Xiang accused him of having a wife and even a child

The two stayed together for more than ten days, and Jun ShuYing stayed in the room all day long. Chu FeiYang didn’t know what medicine he was sold in the gourd, but even if he wants to monitor, he must first be able to endure Jun ShuYing’s sharp sarcasm.

If it were the first two days, he might still think he was afraid of outsiders’ curious eyes and eager whispers, but now he has no way to guess, he can only be fully on guard, ready for soldiers to come and flood the water.

Since the day he met Mei XinRuo, Mei Xiang has been urging him to return to the Mei Household Manor, Chu FeiYang shied away in every possible way. Mei Xiang finally couldn’t help it. That day at night a hundred thousand of guards called him to go to Mei Household. After three rounds of wine, he mentioned his marriage with Mei XinRuo.

Chu FeiYang sighed secretly. This matter’s end is choosing transparency. He knew that his master and Mei Xiang had been waiting for him to speak first. He and Mei XinRuo’s interactions were watched by everyone who knew him with ambiguous eyes. Mei XinRuo looked at him with eyes full of love.

Even if he is a free and easy hero, no matter what he does, he is looked at like this. Even if it seems ignorant and unconscious, it is actually embarrassing.

Chu FeiYang took out the excuses he had prepared ten thousand times and tactfully refused. Who knew that before he finished speaking, Mei Xiang became angry, slapped the table, pointed at his nose and called him irresponsible.

Chu FeiYang was dumbfounded for a while. He was extremely wronged enduring scolding for no reason.

Chu FeiYang didn’t understand until Mei Xiang accused him of having a wife and even a child and provoking his precious daughter. He gave a wry smile. How can outsiders know these twists and turns?!

So when Mei Xiang finished his scolding and calmed down, and calmly asked him if he was just taking care of someone else’s widow, he quickly denied it–this was the truth, that was his child, although that one was not his– wife……

T/N: LOL. Idiot does not know when to shut up!

Chu FeiYang thought of the connection between Jun ShuYing and his wife, there was a strong spirit in the bottom of his heart, and there was a bad cold, but it was inexplicably funny. His tangled expression is not the same to outsiders.

Mei XinRuo, who was secretly watching in the dark, burst into tears. She never knew there is such a person that can make her Big Brother Chu smile at the thought of.

Chu FeiYang admitted so crisply. Instead, Mei Xiang had nothing to say. Mei Xiang stared at Chu Feiyang for a long time. Then he sighed in a heavy tone: “You, this child is really… oh!*-“

T/N: This is more like, ‘What a pity!’ kind of ‘Oh’.

But at this moment, a household member rushed into the study to report a message, saying a culprit had entered into the study. Mei Xiang ignored Chu FeiYang again, and hurriedly went to the study. Chu FeiYang picked up the sword to follow Mei Xiang, secretly relieved this disaster is over.

However, thinking of the culprit that member talked about, he already had some bad feelings for no reason. To say who would be the most troubled with him would be the most troublesome for him, he can only think of one person.

The Mei Household Manor was full of voices and brightly lit. Household members’ Three-Five-One teams come and go with torches. Dozens lined up in front of the courtyard in protecting shape, the men with the bows and the sabers looking well trained.

Jun ShuYing opened a door from the hiding room and looked out, and couldn’t help but groan secretly. He wondered if Mei Xiang, the old fox, used all the money he earned on housekeeping.

The household members began to search the rooms along the corridor, and they were about to find this one. Jun ShuYing was looking for a place in the room to hide. He had just walked around behind the screen and the wooden door had been covered! Kicked away, the room was brightly lit by torches.

There is nowhere to hide behind the screen. Jun ShuYing shrunk in the corner. Listening to household members looking through the boxes and cabinets in the room, he gathered his efforts in vain luck. He hoped that even if he can use a minute of light work, he can escape with his life effortlessly.

There are steps coming towards the screen. Jun ShuYing took a deep breath, squeezing three shiny silver needles in his hands, preparing to fight to the death. In the midst of concentrating, he suddenly lightened his body and was grabbed by the shoulder and pulled up to the roof.

Jun ShuYing stabbed the back of his hand in surprise, but was restrained by his wrists together with his mouth covered. A voice rang softly in his ear: “Shhh. Don’t make any noise. It’s me.”

Chapter 35: Yang Shu Mei Ying (YSMY)

Your son smashed the sky in my stomach.

Chu FeiYang returned to the inn and pushed open the broken door. Seeing Jun ShuYing’s stiff figure lying on the bed, he curled his mouth and smiled, wondering what kind of wind and rain would be waiting for him.

“I’m back.” Chu FeiYang walked to the bed, and had already set up his spirit to meet the two resentful eyes that wished to burn him, or the cynicism with sharp teeth and mouth, possibly deadly poison or hidden weapons.

However there is nothing. Jun ShuYing lay on the bed with his eyes closed, his face covered with sweat, brows knitted and panting slightly.

“Jun ShuYing?!” Chu FeiYang tried out tentatively, but didn’t get a response. The hair on his forehead was wet with sweat and stuck to his face, showing a miserable look of embarrassment. Chu FeiYang hurriedly explained to him, helping Jun ShuYing to sit up, he could still feel the trembling of his body.

“What’s wrong with you? What’s uncomfortable?!” Chu FeiYang grabbed his wrist to get a pulse, but Jun ShuYing broke away.

“I’m fine.” He said breathlessly, “You can be a little late again. Just to collect my body──Eh…” Before he finished speaking, Jun ShuYing snorted and shrank his body into a ball while holding his belly, covered in cold sweat.

“Do you have a stomachache? Let me see.” Chu FeiYang probed his hand to pull Jun ShuYing’s wrist, but he was struggling to get his pulse.

“Why are you so stubborn?! You can only hurt yourself.” Chu FeiYang frowned.

Jun ShuYing snorted, his voice slightly weak and light: “Are you a doctor?! You are just a butcher who pretends to be just. I said nothing! Why do you do so much, resembling the same as a woman!”

“At this time, you still play with me. Who resembles more of a woman?!” Jun Shuying’s non-cooperation made Chu Feiyang a little angry, his actions became rude, and he squeezed Jun Shuying’s wrist with strength, making it impossible for him to break away.

Jun ShuYing was completely offended by these words. He raised his other hand, grabbed Chu FeiYang’s collar, and panted viciously and said: “Yes, you Daxia Chu is a clankerous man! I am carrying that thing in my body like a f*cking woman! Do you want to know what’s going on?! Okay, let me tell you! Your son smashed the sky in my stomach. It is so f*cking painful. Should I tell you everything, Daxia Chu?!”

This close allowed Chu FeiYang to feel Jun ShuYing’s scorching breathe sprayed on his face, and clearly see the complex emotions in the eyes that are close at hand, resentful, unwilling, and shameful. There are so many other things, just looking at it makes his heart tremble slightly.

Chu Feiyang recalled Jun Shuying when he first saw him, that high-powered and energetic man, now not only has lost everything, he has also fallen into such an embarrassing situation. Although he knew he deserved his sin, he couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. If it weren’t for a bad heart, with his skills, he could have been still at a higher place, worshipped by others.

Chu FeiYang sighed lightly, pulled down Jun ShuYing’s hand, and slowly passed some internal strength to him until Jun ShuYing’s breathing eased slightly. This time, Jun ShuYing stopped struggling, but lowered his head and silently accepted the warm current flowing into his body and slowly smoothing his discomfort.

Chu FeiYang stood up, took the medicine on the table, and said: “I’ll cook some medicine for you, you take another rest.” He looked at the surrounding gallery again, and said helplessly: “If you think it’s too messy here, you can go to my room next door. Also, don’t choose to run anymore. You should know that staying at this time is best for you.”

When Chu FeiYang returned after decoction, Jun ShuyYing was lying on the bed in his room and sleeping soundly. Chu Feiyang put the bowl on the table, and went to ask for another room.

Before that, it was inevitable to pay the stingy old shopkeeper some good words and apologize, and then took out a large sum of money to compensate him for the things Jun Shuying broke.

In the next few days, Jun ShuYing became much quieter, no longer deliberately looking for faults, no longer deliberately running away. Chu FeiYang was relieved, but he didn’t dare to relax.

He understands that Jun Shuying’s kind of person is only temporary, maybe he is waiting for the opportunity to kill him. When dealing with poisonous snakes, you must not take anything lightly.
